What Injectable Is Right for Me?

When it comes to injectables, the possibilities are endless. At the Bonaldi Aesthetics, we offer several different non-surgical, injectable treatments, including BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVÉDERM®, JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC, JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC, and KYBELLA®. Each treatment serves a unique purpose and treats a different problem. When considering injectables, it is important to do your research and really identify what areas you want to target, how long you want the results to last, and ultimately what look you want to achieve.

So, which injectable is right for you?

For those battling frown lines and crow’s feet:

BOTOX® Cosmetic

This treatment is meant to treat wrinkles on the face caused by regular facial muscle contraction. BOTOX® Cosmetic is injected in those problem areas such as frown lines and crow’s feet, and prevents the muscles in that area to tense, therefore decreasing these wrinkles significantly. BOTOX® Cosmetic injections are performed under no anesthetic and take about 15 minutes to complete. However, the results are not permanent, and patients usually return every three to four months for touch ups.

JUVÉDERM®

JUVÉDERM® takes a different approach on the attack on wrinkles. JUVÉDERM® takes hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in your skin, and acts as a filler, essentially replenishing your face to its youthful and healthy appearance. This treatment takes about 45 minutes to complete with virtually instant results and is approved to last up to six months.

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC is an injectable with the focus not on wrinkles but on your cheeks. Over time, your cheekbones’ appearance becomes flat, and the skin around that area begins to sag, giving an older and more tired appearance. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC is a filler for the cheek area, lifting, adding volume, and contouring, essentially giving you a more chiseled and youthful look. This procedure is performed with topical anesthetic with little to no pain, usually takes 45 minutes, and is proven to last up to two years.

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC is the first and only FDA-approved filler proven to increase lip fullness and soften the appearance of vertical lip lines for up to one year.
