New Beginnings Program

At the Center for Plastic Surgery, Dr. Louis A. Bonaldi will be donating his time and services, absorbing all costs himself, for one individual per month. Dr. Bonaldi understands the financial burdens of surgery, and this is why New Beginnings was initiated: to bring hope and a brighter future to people of the Reno community and beyond.

Am I Eligible?
Those in need of plastic/reconstructive surgery without the necessary means to fund an operation are welcome to apply. Dr. Bonaldi is looking for individuals who suffer from physical defects that cause considerable stress, emotional conflicts and impairment in the social and professional worlds. It is Dr. Bonaldi's intention to meet with all individuals who qualify for this program.

Requirements
Because this is a costless operation to you the patient, several specifications must be considered before applying for your consultation. If the following list of requirements applies to you or your child, you may be selected to meet personally and privately with Dr. Bonaldi at the Center for Plastic Surgery:

• Cannot afford elective surgery due to income and insurance reasons
• The operation must be an outpatient procedure
• The patient must be over 5 years of age
• The affected area causes significant impairment in social interaction and self-esteem due to perceived personal appearance
